Dan Kerley
Pastor
Dan grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. While working as an accountant in the Columbia area, he met and married Lesa Bowersox, who was serving in campus ministry with Cru. Dan joined Cru and served with Lesa in campus ministry and with Cru’s Latin American Ministry. He later served with RUF at the University of Central Florida while attending seminary. Dan has served in the PCA as an assistant pastor, pastor of counseling and senior pastor. He received a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia), specializing in counseling. Dan attended MNA Church Planting Assessment in 2010, and planted Crosswater with friend and colleague David Dickson in 2012. Dan and Lesa have two sons, Josh and Reid, and daughter-in-law Sarah. Dan loves weight training, and dancing with Lesa. Most Friday nights you can find them on the dance floor and hanging out with friends at their favorite venue.
Matt Horne
Assistant to the Pastor
Matt grew up in a small town in Texas about an hour outside of Houston and would later go on to graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in communications. During his time at UH, he met and married Bekah. Since that point, they have lived in KY, St. Louis MO, and gained three crazy boys along the way. Derek, Hendrix, and Micah. After getting married Matt served RUF as a campus intern for two years before moving to St. Louis to pursue theological education at Covenant Seminary. Matt loves to play golf when things aren’t too crazy (so rarely) and he also loves learning about personal finance.
Todd Smeltzer
Music Director
Todd is originally from Pennsylvania. He studied music at Indiana University at Pennsylvania, and has played in and led a variety of bands his entire professional career. Todd and Julie have four daughters. He loves the competition and community of weekly Ultimate Frisbee.
Katie Dickson
Administrative Assistant, Nursery Coordinator
Katie is originally from Charlotte N.C. She is a graduate of Longwood University. Katie loves children, knitting, crochet and hanging out with friends and family.
